CPWD continues to strengthen the social infrastructure of the country by undertaking construction of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in diverse & remote locations of the country. In the Western Region about 18 No. JNVs are in various stages of construction in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Goa.

 

CPWD WR has recently completed infrastructure job concerning fully built environment encompassing all Interior Works, Electricals, Air Conditioning, Projection equipments, Acoustics and Furniture for the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research at Pune.

 

Construction work on Regional Training Institute for the Comptroller and Auditor General of India in Bandra Kurla Complex is making a steady progress and is likely to be completed in February 2009.

 

The construction work of diaphragm wall and the basement for the IDBI Project at Bandra Kurla Complex is steadily progressing and is likely to be completed by April 2008.

 

CPWD WR has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for undertaking the construction of Research Centre and Hostel Block for the National Institute of Industrial Engineering in Powai as Project Management Consultant. Estimate and Tendering formalities are under way.
